If you are looking for an employee with excellent multi-tasking skills that operates under a “customer service” philosophy, I would like to meet you.

First, I will give you a brief background.  Previously I was the Creative Director at Seiz Sign Company in Hot Springs, Arkansas.  For five years I have been managing the design staff, production team, and coordinating installation of sign and marketing materials.  For three of my five years as creative director, I have been in charge of some of the largest accounts held by Seiz.  These projects include all signage and print needs for the Sun Belt Conference, Magic Springs Water and Theme Park and Mercy Hospital.  My day to day responsibilities include writing schedules for the design and production staff, prioritizing deadlines, meeting with clients to ensure their needs are satisfied, and ordering all materials and inventory necessary for day to day operations. On any given day I am juggling on average 10 to 15 deadlines.  Every client naturally is only aware of their own needs.  It is my job to help them feel that our greatest efforts are expended to satisfy their purposes.  This is only accomplished by giving clear directions to trusted staff who have been properly trained to work together in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Our largest clients come back to Seiz for all of their projects for three key reasons: our quality of work, our attention to detail, and our cost-competitive nature.  Managers often find it difficult to stay cost-effective in tough economic times, however, this is exactly the reason one can constantly seek suppliers who are willing to lower their prices to beat the competitor.  This has been the easiest way for me to drive down cost, not only to win bids but to save my company thousands of dollars on inventory.

After moving to Chicago, I became a Graphic layout specialist for Freeman Decorating Company, the largest exhibitor graphics company in the world.  I provided layouts, manage tradeshow deadlines, conventions etc. providing layouts, delivery times, and scheduling as well as many other duties.

Five years into my employment at Freeman, I was promoted to graphic account manager.  This is essentially the “Creative Director” position within a tradeshow.  The shows I manage are all over the United States and are anywhere from 40,000 to 500,000 square feet of graphics.  Suffice it to say, this is the big leagues of signage.

The shows that I manage are Microsoft Ignite, TwitchCon, DDW, NAR, NRF (New York), and many others.

I believe I would be an ideal candidate for your company because of my proven problem-solving skills and my willingness to learn from every situation.  I come from the creative industry, but the principles of customer service remain the same in any business environment.  It would be a simple transition for me to take my “out of the box” thinking and apply it to any business setting.  I am proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and I am a professional at the latest technologies in large format printing.  This is important for me to point out because any machines used in your practice would have little to no learning curve for me to operate.
